Lynas is planting “seeds of change” in the GM debate

Mark Lynas’s conversion from an anti-GMO crusader to a champion for science and plant technology has made him a source of both praise and criticism in the highly politicized GM debate.

Having been on both sides of the issue, Lynas brought to light several interesting observations about the GM debate and how strategic messaging can improve the conversation and shift behavior.

1. Passion and authenticity are influential.

2. Never underestimate the power of storytelling.
