Progressive scientist on why Rachel Maddow and other liberals are dead wrong about GMOs

Harvard PhD candidate Kevin Bonham, a self-proclaimed liberal/progressive and  Whole Foods and local food shopper, writing in in his Scientific American blog, slams Rachel Maddow and other liberals for their anti-science views on GMOs:

…despite the lack of evidence for harm, despite the fact that it’s already possible to find food that doesn’t contain GMO, people on my side of the political spectrum, who are generally pro-science when it comes to climate change, seem to ignore or misrepresent the science of biotechnology.
