Makes perfect sense. Organic companies support labeling either, if they were being told they have to disclose whether the seeds they use are produced by mutagenesis (chemicals, irradiation). Just a process. The finished product is what’s important.
Speaking of which, would it make sense to require labeling for types of foods that have had recalls? (organic would have tons of labeling requirements; GE foods none that I’ve heard of being recalled)
