GM products imported into Swaziland illegally

Despite the fact that Swaziland does not have a bio-safety law, genetically modified (GM) products are being imported into the country from South Africa.Because there is no law governing the importation and farming of genetically modified crops, it should not occur. According to Swaziland Environment Authority’s (SEA) Constance Dlamini, over 100 000 tonnes of genetically modified food products enter the country.
