Cultivation of cotton goes up in EG

The cultivation of genetically modified (BACILLUS Thuringiensis) BT-2 cotton has increased substantially in East Godavari district this current season as farmers are attracted by the high yields and pest resistance of such cotton.  Therefore, there is a great demand for BT-2 cotton seed in the district.  Famers prefer BT seed supplied by Mahyco Company.
