GMO labeling initiatives: Prop 37 v. I-522

GMO labeling advocates — still licking their wounds after the defeat of Proposition 37 in California last November — are now looking to Washington State, where “The People’s Right To Know Genetically Engineered Food Act” (a.k.a. I-522) has moved to the legislature. Biofortified has posted a thorough analysis of I-522, what it means and how it stacks up compared to Prop 37.
