For more than a year, the non-governmental organization Friends of the Earth (FOE) has been trying to malign and defame Impossible Foods becauseย we use genetic engineeringย to make delicious, wholesome meat, using simple plant ingredients, without the disastrous environmental impact of animal farming.

Why would a nongovernmental organization purporting to โ€œchampion a more healthy and just worldโ€ launch a smear campaign against Impossible Foods, a startup whoseย entire purposeย is to eliminate the worldโ€™s most destructive technology?
