… Robert Malone, a medical doctor and prominent adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., spoke for more than 45 minutes about some of the health secretaryโ€™sย favorite targets, including routine vaccines, ultra-processed foods, and antidepressants. When he wrapped with a signature nod to โ€œmaking America healthy again,โ€ aย standing ovationย broke out.

This wasnโ€™t a typical MAHA gathering in Washington, D.C. Malone was speaking at the European Parliament in Brussels, helping to launch a new organization: Make Europe Healthy Again, or MEHA.

… MEHAโ€™s disciples are a constellation of anti-vaccine activists, right-wing politicians, and medical freedom campaigners, now coalescing into a single group that warns Europeโ€™s regulators are captured byย โ€œcorrupted scienceโ€ย and that its public health systems are akin toย โ€œtyranny.โ€

… David Robert Grimes,ย an authorย and associate professor of public health at Trinity College Dublin, is not surprised that Kennedyโ€™s grievances have found a foothold here.

โ€œYou lure people in with self-evident truths: โ€˜Would you like your food to be healthier?โ€™ Whoโ€™s going to say no? That is the rabbit hole,โ€ Grimes said, adding, โ€œItโ€™s a Trojan horse for much darker beliefs.โ€
