The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has refused to overturn the USDA’s decision to commercialize the “Roundup Ready” crop, which can withstand glyphosate herbicides.
Unless a broader panel of 9th Circuit judges or the U.S. Supreme Court revokes that decision — generally a rare event — farmers will continue growing the biotech crop without restriction.
