International Food Policy Research Institute economist Alexander J. Stein wrote a response on her personal blog to points raised by Michael Pollan in Andrew Revkin’s blog “From Lynas to Pollan, Agreement that Golden Rice Trials Should Proceed” on the Opinion Pages at the New York Times.
“I did research,” Stein wrote, “on the potential impact and cost-effectiveness of Golden Rice for my PhD and I feel that I can alleviate some of Michael Pollan’s concerns.”
