The Cornell Alliance for Science encouraged viewers to “unbundle” GMOs in a two-minute video released last week. Just like how sticks in a bundle are harder to break, conversations about GMOs as a whole are often unproductive.
Each GM trait or crop is unique, and it is far better to look at each one individually and ask questions such as:
-What traits are being modified?
-Who benefits from this technology?
-Are there environmental risks?
-What are the alternatives?
