Differences in twins’ DNA set in the womb

Environment can have a strong influence on genes in the womb and could account for differences in identical twins, according to a new study. Scientists from Murdoch Children”s Research Institute (MCRI) in Melbourne studied the DNA of a group of identical and non-identical twins, using the placenta, umbilical cords and cord blood collected at birth.
