Molecular genetics helps ‘undress’ mutton

Under the supervision of Murdoch agricultural scientist Professor David Pethick, he borrowed an idea from molecular genetics to test the difference between the poorer quality mutton from its younger lamb counterpart. Prof Pethick says they used the entirety of the data rather than searching for a singular causative compound.
