Stringent GMO regulatory system urged by anti-GM group

MANILA, Philippines — International environment group Greenpeace urged a strict scrutiny of regulators of GMO (genetically-modified organism) products being introduced to the country, citing the group’s public safety concerns on the proliferation of genetically-modified crops.
