Video: Debate about GM crops reignites

The genetic modification of plants has been back in the news recently as scientists at Rothamsted Research conduct an open air experiment on genetically modified wheat.  Protest group Take the Flour Back has planned a mass action on 27 May.  In response the researchers have made a plea to the protesters not to destroy the crops. There was a debate between both sides on Newsnight last Thursday that you can still catch on iPlayer (the relevant part starts at 21 minutes in and it expires on 24 May).
