A new kind of medicine to fight breast cancer is emerging: a drug combination designed to act like a smart bomb, which delivers its payload directly to tumor cells while reducing collateral damage to the rest of the body. The experimental drug, T-DM1, attacks breast cancer in a whole new way and appears significantly better at controlling cancer.
