Anti-GM salmon petition nears one million signatures

The following is an edited excerpt.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is in favour of allowing a fish produced by scientists at AquaBounty  to reach the dinner table.

[But] almost one million people have signed an online petition to stop the US approving a scheme that would allow genetically modified salmon to enter the food chain.
