Dolly’s birth sparked a vigorous debate about the controversial technique and its potential application to humans. The research into stem cells ignited by the Dolly experiment, which could be used to treat conditions such as Motor Neuron Disease and Parkinson’s, is still developing and with remarkable breakthroughs and unending controversy. BBC’s Reunion radio program gathered some of the original scientists together to recall Dolly’s creation and discuss what the future of cloning might bring.
