What is green biotechnology? Green biotechnology is set of techniques used to create new varieties of plants and animals that are adapted to meet the needs of farmers and consumers. Its missions include feeding the rapidly growing human population, producing better quality crops that use less water, fertilizer and pesticides, as well as helping crops adapt to climate change.
